An address panel has been removed from a letter Washington had written. The panel reads, “…Cap’t George Lewis, of Baylor’s Light Dragoons, Newtown, G. Washington…” Written entirely in Washington’s hand and signed as a free frank signature. Undated, but most certainly signed during the Revolutionary War as Commander-in-Chief. $12,500.
