| Israeli Prime Minister. One page typed letter signed in Hebrew on embossed Prime Ministers Letterhead, August 17, 1979, Jerusalem.
This week I returned, after my illness to my work and read, among other things, your letter. I will not keep from you that I looked at what you said not only with interest, but also with emotion. You told me about your life, your work on behalf of the nation, and also about your deep feelings. I learned from these of a deep loyalty to our people, which has suffered so much and our land in which our national life is being renewed. You can be proud of your lifes work and I can do nothing but call on you to continue to care for Israelis children, for whom you have such great love. With great respect and blessings, M. Begin. A warmly expressed letter from the Prime Minister.

| 1860-1945 American Zionist Leader. Founder and President of Hadassah. Aided in establishing schools, hospitals, childrens clinics and welfare stations in Palestine. One page typed letter signed on The Zionist Management in the Land of Israel letterhead, Jerusalem, Jan. 15, 1928, to Dr. A. Malchi. I thank him very much for the beautiful gift that he honored me by sending to me the Hebrew Medical Dictionary that was composed and published by him. The appearance of the first dictionary in the profession will doubtlessly be very eagerly accepted by the public, especially by medical workers. I much appreciate the great labor that he invested in publishing this and would like to be able to help you with the burden of its cost. But, unfortunately I am unable to get special sums for this purpose. The meager funds of the literary authority of Hadassah have been invested in publishing large quantities of Dr. Feinglebaums book, which appeared some time ago. I have appealed to Dr. Bluestrom to attract the attention of the doctors and nurses in Hadassah to the publication of the dictionary. I will be very happy if this will make its publication any easier." In Hebrew with translation. Nice letter from the Zionist leader. Scarce!
